Storytelling sessions for Schools
A story brought to life in the classroom can be
an unforgettable experience for young learners.
The participatory nature of my sessions means that the students are always actively engaged throughout:
assuming roles, using their bodies to create scenery,
making soundscapes, using their imaginations etc.
This has many benefits including:
– Deepening understanding of the text
– Widening vocabulary
– Developing creative thinking
– Improving speaking and listening skills
– Inspiring their own creative writing.
I offer tailor-made sessions focusing on particular books or themes designed to fit in with your studies.

Schools - Whole day sessions
Up to seven 20 – 30 minute sessions covering each year group
Three longer sessions one for each key stage
These can be tailor-made and focus on particular books or themes.

45 mins – 1 hour , focusing on ‘Traditional Tales’, Myths and Legends.
